Access to the archaeological sites

Musealization of the remains found out in the recent years in the Jewish Quarter of Girona


The Jewish History Museum has new outdoor spaces for better understand the evolution of the medieval Jewish quarter of Girona.
On the first floor, you can access a new terrace to see the remains of the house with a cistern, which appeared in the excavations of 2012 and 2013.
Crossing the courtyard of the second floor, you can visit the archaeological remains of the mikveh (ritual bath) of the fifteenth century, located and excavated in February 2014.
