Opening times

Jewish History Museum

The Museum entrance is at Carrer de la Força, No. 8.

July and August: Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm, Sunday and public holidays from 10 am to 2 pm.

September to June: Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm; Monday, Sunday and bank holidays from 10 am to 2 pm.

Closed on January 1st and 6th, and December 25th and 26th.

Nahmanides Institute for Jewish Studies - Eliezer E. Schalit Library

The Institute entrance is in Carrer de sant Llorenç.

July and August: Monday to Friday from 10 am to 3 pm; Wednesday from 5 pm to 8 pm.

September to June: Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm; Wednesday and Thursday from 4 pm to 7 pm.

Closed on Saturday (July and August), Sunday and bank holidays.

Museum Admission Prices

Free admission to the Museum on the first Sunday of every month.

Standard individual admission fee: 4 €

Reduced admission fee: 2 €

Audio-guide (admission included): 6 €

Reductions

Free admission: children under 16, Spanish school groups accompanied by teachers, card-holders (ICOM, Association of Museologists of Catalonia, GEiEG, Qltura Jove, Official Language School of Girona), persons with a permanent full handicap, persons registered as unemployed in Spain, teachers working in Spain, accredited journalists, official tourist guides and travel agents.

Reduced admission fee: holders of Carnet Jove or student cards, pensioners, youth hostellers, overseas teachers with relevant ID, tourist parties with advance bookings, groups of university students or secondary school pupils aged 17 or over, tourist bus passengers (on presentation of relevant coupon), Walking Tour participants, large family card-holders and with stamped GironaMuseus card.

Inclusion in any of the above categories must be justified with the relevant document on entering the Museum. Reductions are not applicable to guided tours or to audio-guide visits, which already include admission to the Museum.
