Opening times

Museum of Jewish History

The Museum entrance is in 8, Força street.

July and August: Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm; Monday, Sunday and public holidays from 10 am to 2 pm.

September to June: Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm; Monday, Sunday and bank holidays from 10 am to 2 pm.

January 5th, and December 24th and 31st, opened from 10 am to 2 pm. Closed on January 1st and 6th, and December 25th and 26th.

Last entry to the museum: 30 minutes before closing time.

Nahmanides Institute for Jewish Studies - Eliezer E. Schalit Library

When the museum is closed, the entrance to the Institute is in Sant Llorenç street.

From September 16th to June 21st (except Christmas and Easter): Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2 pm to 6 pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm. Closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Sundays and holiday banks.

Christmas, Easter and from June 22nd to September 15th: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 am to 2 pm and Wednesday from 2 pm to 6 pm. Closed on Mondays, Saturdays, Sundays and holiday banks and the days December 24th and 31st. Holidays from 1st to 15th August.

Museum Admission Prices

The entrance ticket to the museum gives you access to the permanent collection. Access to the temporary exhibition is always free.

General admission fee: 4 €

Free admission to the Museum on the first Sunday of every month and other special days (check the Agenda).

Audio-guide: free. Access through section Audio-guides in our website.

Reduced admission fee: 2 €

Inclusion in any of the above categories must be justified with the relevant document on entering the Museum. Reductions are not applicable to guided tours or to activities.
