Presentation of the Ancient Jewish Quarter of Girona with the Spanish network Red de Juderias de España, in Mexico DF

An important group of tour operators and specialized media attended the first professional workshop, in the frame of a programme held this week in the American market

The network has presented its tourist and cultural offer in Mexico, with the aim to let people know about our ancient Jewish quarters and its rich heritage, as well as the huge number of resources provided by RASGO related to restaurants, accommodation, signposting, guides and highly specialized cultural and commercial offer.

In this workshop, organized with the support of Turespaña through its Office in Mexico, the representatives of the network encouraged the Mexican public to increase their travels to our country .

Later, the delegation accompanied by Mr Alberto Levy (FESELA) visited some prominent Sephardic communities, and developed a work session at the Maimonides Sefarad Community Center which was attended, among other authorities, by the Spanish Ambassador Mr. Manuel Alabart .

The Spanish network has received in Mexico a very warm welcome. This meeting will indeed increase the friendly relationship between the two countries and will also be reflected in an increased flow of Mexican visitors to our destinations.
