The Museum of Jewish History improves hardware thanks to the Girona Provincial Council's New Technologies Grant 2020

The Patronat call the Girona has accepted the Girona Provincial Council Grant for museums and collections in the Girona region to provide itself with new technologies

The New Technologies Grant that the Girona Provincial Council has given this year 2020 to the Museum of Jewish History has allowed us to renew three computers and two screens for the customer service, administration and library areas.

We have also equipped ourselves with new hardware related to sound and image, specifically a video camera and headphones with a microphone to hold and attend virtual meetings and webinars. The pandemic has introduced new ways of remote working and the virtual meetings and training have increased exponentially. These two elements have been installed in the meeting room but their reduced dimensions allow them to be easily transferred to any of the equipment's desktop computers.

Improving computer and technological hardware is essential for the management of the museum and today it has become even more relevant.
