Guided itinerary by Silvia Planas in the framework of the exhibition The Girona of the water, the Girona History Museum.

Purification through a ritual bath as described in the Law of Moses was a practice of the Girona Jewish community during its entire existence throughout the Middle Ages. Almost always within the Jewish quarter, the space set aside for the mikveh varied depending where the community was located. In this itinerary we will visit the places where, during some time of the Middle Ages, were a space destined to mikveh.
