Call de Girona

Peter Weiss (1916-1982), was a German writer, artist, filmmaker, playwright and activist. On the occasion of the centenary of his birth, the Chair Walter Benjamin Memory and Exile, the Antoni Tàpies Foundation together with the Patronat Call de Girona and the Exile Memorial Museum, organized a series of conferences to revisit his life and thought.

Wednesday, June 1st:
6.30 pm. La Estética de la Resistencia o la (anti)novela de formación. Lecture by Germán Garrido Miñambres (Madrid Complutense University)

7.30 pm. Seny i revolució: Peter Weiss i Hölderlin. Round table with the participation of Jörg Zimmer and Mónica Carbó (University of Girona)
