Founded in Girona on 1976 as Coral Oidà, since 1991 is known as Cor Filharmonia. Is member of the Agrupació Coral de les Comarques de Girona and direct member of the European Choral Association.

Its repertoire includes works from all periods and traditional songs from all over the world. The choir participates in several activities organized by the Foundation Auditori-Palau de Congressos of Girona and the Festival of World and Sacred Music of Girona. David Sunyer was the director until 2005; nowadays the choir is directed by Irene Llongarriu.

During the concert that will take place on December 22th of Hanukkah songs, the Cor Filharmonia will be accompanied by the pianist Anna Balvak.
