Museums in play

A board game by the Xarxa de Museus de les Comarques de Girona to learn about our heritage in a fun and engaging way.

Evaluate, choose, combine and have fun while creating the most captivating exhibition. Only one player can become the ultimate curator!

Museums in play was created with the aim of promoting the cultural heritage of the Girona regions through the 26 museums that form part of the Network.

It is a card game designed for everyone - from ages 8 to 99 - that combines fun and learning. It allows participants to create their own exhibition using representative pieces from museums across the region. Each game lasts approximately 20 minutes.
A game for 2 to 4 players (5 with expansion cards). Each museum in the Network has its own unique free expansion card, available when visiting the museums.

Besides bringing cultural heritage closer to the public in an engaging way, the game also highlights the rich heritage of the Girona regions while encouraging skills and values such as decision-making, frustration tolerance, respect for turns, group cohesion and equal opportunities.
