Museums Take to the Street

The Territorial Network of Museums of the Counties of Girona is organising, for the seventh time, a showcase of different workshops from the museums of the Girona counties. This year, the event will take place in Banyoles next Sunday.

The Museum of Jewish History is taking part with a new hands-on research workshop. The premiere will be held at La Muralla space in Banyoles on Sunday, 23 November, during the 12:35 to 2:00 p.m. time slot.

The activity has been designed thanks to funding from the Network. The proposal is based on an archaeological find that enables participants to experience how historical research is carried out. Users will decipher the hidden message of a medieval object in four steps, adapted to three different levels of difficulty depending on age, starting from Year 1 of primary school.
