The Girona City Council will commemorate the International Day of Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust with a conference on the risk of forgetting

The Girona City Council commemorates tomorrow, January 26, the International Day of Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust.
The event organized by the patronat Call de Girona will take place in the Plenary Hall of the town hall starting at 7:00 p.m.

January 27th yearly commemorates the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, a date chosen by the United Nations to remember the liberation of the camp extermination of Auschwitz-Birkenau (Poland) in 1945 and to honour the victims.
