Esther Bendahan (Tetuán, Morocco, 1964) is a writer born into a family Jewish-Spanish. She studied Psychology and French Philology in Madrid. At present, she is the director of the television program "Shalom" (La2) and Head of Programming of the Casa Sefarad-Israel, and she writes regularly articles and reports in several publications.

In 2009 she published the book El secreto de la reina persa, which will be commented during this gathering.
