Judaica: Opening the antique books storage area

Girona commemorates the 2,100th anniversary of its foundation with a programme of activities and exhibitions inviting visitors to discover different spaces and collections throughout the city. Among the scheduled activities is a series of guided visits to the reserve collections of Girona's archives and museums.

The Museum of Jewish History is joining the initiative with a visit to its collection of antique Judaica books.
An opportunity to discover books dating from the 16th century to the first half of the 20th century and to learn about part of the bibliographic heritage preserved by the Nahmanides Institute for Jewish Studies.

Advance booking is required from 1 October 2026.
