Discover the Jewish cuisine on a stroll through the ancient city!
Saturday, April 28,
Museu d'Història dels Jueus
Walking tour by Naturalwalks.
We will follow the steps of a Medieval cook from Girona that picks up natural ingredients for the Shabbath meal. From the courtyards of the Jewish quarter to the gardens outside the walls, the city offers a large and unexpected variety of edible and aromatic plants that are already mentioned in the Bible.
At every stop of the walk we'll find a plant with a very old cooking tradition and we'll see how recipes still exist in modern Jewish life and learn how to use them.
Duration: between 2 and 2.30 hours
Groups with 8 people minimum to do the visit (or 6 adults with kids) and a maximum of 18 people.
