Joan Fontcuberta

Has developed a heterogeneous activity in the field of photography as an artist, teacher, critic, exhibition curator and historian. Visiting professor at universities in Spain, France, Great Britain and the United States, he collaborates regularly in specialized publications.
He is author of a dozen history books and essays on photography such as "The Kiss of Judas. Photography and Truth" (1997), "Science and Fiction" (1998) and "Pandora's Camera" (2010). There are about thirty monographs published about his work of creation. Since 1974, when he made his first individual exhibition in Barcelona, his work has been exhibited in museums all over the world and has been acquired by numerous public collections.
Among other honours, he won the Hasselblad Award in Photography in 2013.
