Eugeni Penalva exhibits a set of stoneware figures, swiftly shaped using no tools other than his hands to stretch the clay and his fingers to gouge the mouth and eyes. His sorrowful souls are bewildered, tormented beings that wander inside an empty, claustrophobic cistern, hoping to be released. Groups of restless, displaced figures with which the artist wants to express the disquiet and uncertainty of the present times.
