Pere Porter's Journey into Hell

A literary and artistic interpretation of the Pere Porter folk legend (from the 17th century).

A group of artists cast their gaze on the story of a farmer from Tordera who found himself in a tight spot on account of a family debt which had been duly paid, but which had not been officially written off by the Notary in Hostalric. On his way to Maçanet, where he was going to collect the money he needed to pay the alleged debt, Pere Porter met the devil who invited him to journey into hell in order to find a solution for his problem.
