The Second Republic in Girona (1931-1936). 75th anniversary .

Girona City Council has produced this exposition to mark the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic.

In April 1932 Girona came down on the side of the Republic, that is, it opted for democracy, freedom, justice, order, recognition of the special status of Catalonia, social improvement, rectitude in administration and public education available to everybody.
