Girona is hosting photographs by Robert Capa, Gerda Daro and Agustí Centelles, among others, in an exhibition that sets out to render homage to the 35,000 international volunteers who came to fight on the Republican side during the Spanish Civil War, lending the struggle an international news coverage that marked the beginning of war journalism.

Curators: Michel Lefebvre and Rémi Skoutelsky.

Organised by: the Círculo de Bellas Artes of Madrid and Lunwerg publishing house.

Collaboration of: Girona City Council.
