20th. Girona Saint Sylvester Race + 15th. Mini Saint Sylvester

The Saint Sylvester Race takes place on New Year's Eve and is jointly organised by Girona City Council and Girona Athletics Club. It includes a children's run from 5 to 11 years old.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 31 - 11:45 PM

New Year's Eve Celebration

It is traditional to eat twelve grapes on the stroke of midnight, one with each chime of the clock. After the twelve chimes of the Cathedral, music by DJ Kivili until 3 am.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 2 - 7:00 PM

Lighting of the Christmas Star in the Cathedral

The magician Naj-Mandin and his entourage will participate with torches and other fire elements in the act of lighting the Christmas Star in the bell tower of the Cathedral to illuminate the path of the Three Wise Men.
