The judaism and the press in Europe

New series of lectures from February to June 2010


The Patronat Call de Girona thogether with Ferrater Mora Chair of Contemporary Thought, from the University of Girona, will present a new series of conferences about The Judaism and the press in Europe. We will study how, since the end of 19th century up to 20th century, the press and intelligentsia valued, criticized, spreaded and dealed with the Jewish culture.

The lectures will take place at the Nahmanides Institute for Jewish Studies the following days: February 18th, March 18th, April 22nd, May 20th and June 17th, at 7.30 pm. The entrance is free and open to all publics. More information at: 972 21 67 61.
