Girona Greenways and the Pirinexus route
The region of Girona, surrounded by the Pyrenees and bathed by the Mediterranean, is the perfect setting for bicycle tourism. The Green Ways and the Pirinexus route allow bicycle tourists to ride along a route which will allow them to go through a wide range of parks and natural spaces, from the highest mountains to the most hidden-away coves, while they also discover a rich cultural and traditional heritage.

The project has been 65% cofinanced by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Interreg V-A Spain-France-Andorra programme (POCTEFA 2014-2020). POCTEFA aims to reinforce the economic and social integration of the French-Spanish-Andorran border. Its support is focused on developing economic, social and environmental cross-border activities through joint strategies favouring sustainable territorial development.
