Innovation Award from the Network of Catalonia Tourist Offices
24/05/23 | The Girona Tourist Office has been awarded the 1st Innovation Award of the Network of Catalonia Tourist Offices for its commitment to projecting Girona as an accessible and universal tourist destination.
The award recognizes the accessibility project implemented by Girona City Council consisting of adapting the tourist service to the informational needs of people with visual impairments by incorporating 3D models of the city's main heritage resources and a map in relief of the historic center.
