The Board
The Call de Girona Municipal Board is an independent municipal organism established in 1992 by the Girona City Council, the Girona Provincial Council and the Autonomous Government of Catalonia. The Board is responsible for the physical and cultural restoration of the Jewish heritage in Girona, including the renovation, revitalization and promotion of the "Call" (the historic Jewish Quarter). The Board is based at the Bonastruc ça Porta Centre, home to the Museum of the History of the Jews and the Nahmanides Institute for Jewish Studies. The Centre also houses the local office of the Red de Juderías de España, of which Girona is a member.
