Girona presents the project of the Network of Museums of History and Monuments of Catalonia "Scenarios of the History of Catalonia"

It is a proposal for cultural dissemination that aims to explain the history of Catalonia through different museums and monuments

The Museum of Jewish History hosted today the national presentation of the Scenes of History project. It is a proposal for cultural dissemination that aims to explain the history of Catalonia through the museums and monuments developed by the Network of Museums of History and Monuments of Catalonia. The project brings together 14 micro-stories where the facilities are presented in each of them through the experiences of the people who have lived in these places. With the idea of building stories that make history, the narrative is developed based on values such as gender equality, otherness, inclusion, historical rigor and plurality. All the graphic and audiovisual material is collected on the website www.escenarisdelahistoria.cat.

The 14 museum facilities participating in the project are: the Girona History Museum, the Museum of Jewish History, the Terrassa Museum, the Lleida Museum, the Sant Cugat Museum, the Royal Monastery of Santes Creus, the Tortosa Museum, the Cambrils History Museum, the Mataró Museum, the Jacint Verdaguer House Museum, the Cervera Museum, the Catalan History Museum, the Torre Balldovina Museum and the Hospitalet Museum.
