Housed in the former Casa de les Aigües, a central location in the Mercadal neighbourhood, this museum exhibits Tomàs Mallol's valuable collection of pre-cinema pieces, from the first moving images from shadow theatres to today's cinema.
October to April:Tuesday to Friday from 10.00 to 18.00; Saturdays from 10.00 to 20.00; Sundays and bank holiday Mondays from 11.00 to 15.00.
May, June and September: Tuesday to Saturday from 10.00 to 20.00; Sundays and bank holiday Mondays from 11.00 to 15.00.
July and August: Monday to Sunday from 10.00 to 20.00.
Normal entrance: 5 €
Reduced entrance: 4 € (members of organisations with agreements with the Museum)
Reduced entrance: 2,5 € (students, pensioners, unemployed people and groups of 15 people or more)
Free entrance: children under 16, members of the Cinema Museum Players' Club, Qltura Jove cardholders and members of AMC and ICOM.
Free entrance on the first Sunday of every month.
