Girona hotel among the most romantic in Spain, according to Trivago
23/02/16 | Hotel Ciutat de Girona has been chosen as one of the five most romantic hotels in Spain.
Trivago is an online search engine for hotels that speeds up the booking process for its users. Set up in Germany in 2005, Trivago currently has platforms in 55 countries and 33 languages, which together receive over 75 million visits per month.
To coincide with Valentine's Day, the company selected the top five hotels that inspire romance all year round. The Hotel Ciutat de Girona is one of the establishments chosen as a charming destination for a romantic stay.
Trivago also mentioned Girona's romantic atmosphere and the central location of the hotel, right beside the Eiffel bridge and the city's historic and cultural centre.
The other hotels considered Spain's most romantic were the W Barcelona (Barcelona), Asia Gardens Hotel (Alicante), Hotel Casa 1800 (Seville), and Gran Hotel Bahía del Duque (Santa Cruz de Tenerife).
