The Spanish involvement in the meeting was very active. Chair's Director, Dr Lluīsa Marsal, and AENOR CTN 178 technical secretary, Tānia Marcos, presented the works carried out by the University of Girona on human rights in cities and the resulting standardization initiatives, the PNE 178203 on citizen's rights in smart cities. Since their presentation caught the attention of the other attendants, it was agreed to coordinate PNE 178203 with other similar initiatives. Both experts also informed on other standardisation works being conducted by AENOR CTN 178.
