Chair's Director participates at EU Stakeholder Platform Annual Conference

The conference, which took place in the framework of the European Innovation Partnership (EIP) on Smart Cities and Communities, involved most of the members of the EU Smart Cities Stakeholders Platform. Members of the European Commission explained the visions and strategies for a smarter Europe during the plenary sessions held in the morning. Dr Lluïsa Marsal participated in two task forces which met in the afternoon. She explained the test of the Smart Urban Planning method conducted in Girona at the Integrated Urban Planning task force and the standardisation works on citizens' rights at the Citizen Focus task force. Dr Marsal also intends to test these works in Girona. Since both presentations aroused great interest, Dr Marsal committed to contributing to both task forces on a regular basis and to presenting future developments and results.
