The Chair Director visits the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) of Singapore and the Centre for Livable Cities

The purpose of both meetings is to study potential collaborations in the smart city terrain.

Dra. Lluīsa Marsal had a meeting with Executive Planners of the Physical Planning Group of the URA and one of the managers of the Centre for Livable Cities. The purpose of the meeting is to analyze a potential agreement between the Chair and the URA municipal agency to benefit the respective cities, Girona and Singapore. Singapore has great expertise in the development of smart cities solutions. The Girona Chair offers its expertise in the specific field of Smart Urban Planning, to help the city of Singapore to review and update the 2008 Master Plan (http://www.mnd.gov.sg/landuseplan/).
