Dr. Marsal meets people responsible for different research areas to analyze potential collaborations in the UdG Master Program.

Friday, June 28, 2013

The Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART) is a major research enterprise established by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in partnership with the National Research Foundation of Singapore (NRF) in 2007. SMART is structured in different interdisciplinary research groups:

-Low Energy Electronic Systems (LEES)
-Future Urban Mobility (FM)
-Bio systems and Micromechanics (BIOSYM)
-Centre for Environmental Sensing and Modelling (CENSAM)

The Future Urban Mobility (FM) and the Centre for Environmental Sensing and Modelling (CENSAM) are the two groups which are closer to the urban smartness. Dr. Marsal meets the main researchers of the two groups and had a discussion on how FM and CENSAM expertise could be integrated in the Master Program in Smart Cities at UdG.
