The Chair Director participates in the 3rd. CTN 178 meeting for the standardization of smart cities in Spain

The meeting took place in Madrid, at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technologies.

The plenary meeting of the CTN 178 for the standardization of smart cities in Spain was followed by the Subcommittee 2 (SC2) meeting. SC2 target is to elaborate indicators and semantics to make Spanish cities smarter. This specific subcommittee has two Working Groups with more focused goals:

WG1: To define a Smart City and its attributes, emphasizing the identification of its minimal public services and the definition of each of the parameters.

WG2: To develop the categories or qualities of public services in the city and the parameterization of the associated indicators.

Dr. Marsal, participates in both WG. Dr. Marsal attended both the plenary meeting and the SC2 meeting.
