Medical Services

The main tourist establishments offer medical services. Some countries have agreements with the Spanish Social Security system which enable the tourist to receive free assistance in all medical establishments, whether they be health centres (CAPs) or hospitals of the Catalan Health Institute. In these cases you will need a European Health Insurance card issued by the Social Security system of the traveller's country of origin (E-111).
