Girona City Council organising a special programme to mark the premiere of "Game of Thrones"
12/04/16 | Girona City Council will be holding a series of activities to coincide with the premiere of the first episode of the sixth season of the series Game of Thrones.
On Monday 25 April, the Municipal Theatre will be hosting various activities related with the series, including a screening of the first episode of the new season, entitled ‘The red woman', in the original version with Catalan subtitles
Girona City Council will be holding a series of activities to coincide with the premiere of the first episode of the sixth season of the series Game of Thrones at Girona's Municipal Theatre on 25 April. All the activities will be open to the general public and free of charge, although tickets for the premiere are limited and should be obtained in advance.
The main event on 25 April will be the 8 pm showing of the first episode of the new season of the series, entitled ‘The red woman', in the original version with Catalan subtitles. In fact, this will be the first time that an episode of Game of Thrones has been shown with Catalan subtitles.
In addition, on 25 and 26 April, from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm and from 4 to 8 pm, the famous throne from the series will be installed on the ground floor of the Municipal Theatre, accompanied by a photocall. Anyone wishing to take a photograph of themselves sitting on what has become the symbol of HBO's television production will have the chance to do so.
Advance tickets to attend the screening of the first episode of the sixth season will be available (free of charge) from this Thursday at 1 pm on the online ticket sales platform Koobin and from the Municipal Theatre box office.
