Girona City Council wins the ASTER Award for Communication

11/11/15 | The media campaign for Girona Flower Time 2015 has won the ASTER Award for Communication in the Business category.

Every year the ESIC business school recognises the work and careers of professionals and businesses with its ASTER awards. This year, in the 33rd edition of the awards and the 8th to be held in Catalonia, Girona City Council has been chosen as the winner of the ASTER Award for Communication in the Business category for its media campaign to publicise the Girona Flower Time 2015 festival.

Gas Natural Fenosa has won the ASTER Award for its Business Career, in the Large Companies category, and Gomā-Camps is the winner of the same prize in the SME category. In the Communication Award, Professional category, the prize goes to Tomās Molina, head of Televisiķ de Catalunya's meteorological service and director of the programme Espai Terra, produced by the same TV channel.

The award ceremony will take place on Tuesday 17 November at 7 pm, coinciding with the graduation ceremony for the ESIC business school's degree and postgraduate students. The event will be held at the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya, and hosted by Dr Josep Anton Ferré, vice-chancellor of Rovira i Virgili University. A thousand guests are due to attend, including students and their relatives, teachers and representatives from the financial and business sectors.
