Girona, most romantic city in Europe according to European Best Destinations
06/02/15 | European Best Destinations is a travel organisation based in Brussels which has been working to promote European culture and tourism since 2009.
In collaboration with participating tourist offices they promote the wealth, diversity and quality of European destinations. This year they have chosen the city of Girona as the most romantic destination in Europe!
One of the main functions of this platform is to gather data relating to the development of electronic tourism in Europe in order to provide tourist offices with more information. Every year they organise online competitions in which hundreds of participants choose the Best European Destinations, the Best Ski Resorts and the Best Christmas Markets, among other categories.
