Girona presents the Municipal Theatre's new programme for 2015

17/12/14 | The fixed programme for January-May 2015 at the Municipal Theatre (which also includes performances at the La Mercè Auditorium) has been specially designed to appeal to all types of audiences.

There are shows for regular theatre-goers and some for the more adventurous ; for lovers of both classic and contemporary theatre, and for fans of musicals. There are also dance performances, circus and comedy shows. In addition, during the first half of 2015, the Municipal Theatre will be hosting historical companies from the Catalan (Comediants) and Spanish scenes (Teatro de la Abadía), who will be presenting new projects linked to local creation (Lliures o morts, ‘A pas de poetes' cycle...). The programme also includes opera (Turandot) and ballet (Butterfly), as well as some of today's greatest names in the theatre world (Vilarasau, Pou, Echanove, Novell, Folk, Broggi, Soler, Casanovas) who are joined by some up-and-coming stars.

For children and families we recommend En Joan sense por (music and puppets), Petits prínceps (circus, for 2 years and over), La nena que vivia en una capsa de sabates (theatre and multimedia) and the now familiar activity Un dia amb XaropClown, led by the XaropClown association, the clowns from Girona hospital.

All entrance tickets and season tickets go on sale on Tuesday 16 December through the following channels: the Auditorium website, the Municipal Theatre website, the website and in person from the Girona Auditorium and Municipal Theatre box offices.
