The J M Corredor no known

Extracted of the article of Narcís-Jordi Aragó to The Punt Avui of 8 April 2013.

In the years of exile, had established contacts with personalities of the size of Thomas Mann and Albert Einstein, and especially with the mates of desventura as for example Pompeu Fabra, Carles Riba, Josep Carner and Pau Casals. Of the intense relation with this last would be born his more famous book , Conversations avec Pablo Casals (Paris, 1954), a true universal bestseller translated to the main tongues of the world. But Corredor was much more that the talker with Pau Casals: it was also his biographer and the one of Joan Maragall. Teacher of training, journalist of vocation and passionate activist of the political life, became one of the catalan essayists more remarkable and one of the voices more importants and powerful of the exile. All these merits, in ours house did not serve him of at all: it has been in the last thirty years, one of the most ignored writers or forgotten of Catalonia.
