European Day of Jewish Culture 2017
Special activities and opening hours on August 31, September 1, 2, 3 and 7
The European Day of Jewish Culture is an event celebrated in several countries in Europe. The aim of this day is to organize activities related to Jewish culture and expose them to the public, with the intention that it would reveal the cultural and historical heritage of the Jewish people.
In the Bonastruc ça Porta Center we will celebrate the European Day of Jewish Culture offering several activities:
Thursday, August 31
9 pm Cantadme Galanica, concert by Evoéh
Friday, September 1
6 pm Troba d'Or, Musical Itinerary through the gardens of the Jewish Quarter
Saturday, September 2
6 pm Després del Call: Diàspora, itinerary along the history of several Jewish medieval families from Girona (Catalan language)
Sunday, September 3
10 am to 2 pm Open doors at the Jewish History Museum
10 am Walking among plants in the Jewish Girona. A walk around the old Girona through its plants (Catalan language)
12.30 pm: Després del Call: Diàspora, itinerary along the history of several Jewish medieval families from Girona (Catalan language)
