European Heritage Days
September 16th, 17th and 18th
The European Heritage Days are held in Europe during a weekend between September and October. The 2016 edition will be held in Catalonia on 16, 17 and 18 September 2016.
The theme this year is "Our Heritage". The aim of these days is to promote and preserve cultural heritage.
This weekend, these cities will show the best of their heritage through open doors, guided tours and all kind of activities to get closer to the rich heritage of each country. These activities allow us to discover the historical sites, monumental architecture, gardens, archeology, industrial heritage and museums, among many other possibilities.
The Bonastruc ça Porta centre offers free activities:
Friday 16 September
6 pm Walking among the flowers and herbs in the Jewish Girona
A walk around the old Girona through its plants
Saturday 17 September
18h Troba d'Or
Musical Itinerary through the most charming gardens of the Jewish Quarter
Sunday 18 September
10 to 14h Open doors at the Museum of Jewish History
