July begins with the summer programme in the call de Girona

Activities for children movie nights at the Jewish quarter


Kid's zone: Every Wednesday at 6.30 p.m., we will meet in the courtyard of the Bonastruc ça Porta Centre. We will deep into the magic of stories of Jewish tradition. Legends told with the voices and with the hands, some to the rhythm of the music and more…

July 3rd: Però què fas, Djohà!!! By Va de Contes.
July 10th: Tales adapted to Catalan signs language. By El Ginjoler.
July 17th: Small stories of a Jewish family. By La Minúscula.
July 24th: Jewish stories in Sign Language and tightrope walking, with Fils and Coco. By Equilicontes.
July 31st: Tales on a star. By Va de Contes.

August 7th: Once upon a time the prophet Elijah... Sephardic tradition Tales. By Carles Alcoy.
August 14th: Menut Cabaret. Puppets show by Helena de Sola.
August 21st: Jewish tales. By Bel Contes
August 28th: Legends on a bicycle. Kamishibai Stories. Tati Cervià. By Terranegra.

For adults, we look forward meeting you to the cinema sessions: continuing the cycle we initiated in 2011, the series "Movie Night's" are coming back. The programme, organized in collaboration with the Festival de Cinema Jueu de Barcelona, will bring to Girona two of the films released during the festival: The Matchmaker, a dramatic movie by Avi Nesher, and Des gens qui s'embrassent, a comedy by Danièle Thompson.

Thursday 4 and thursday 18 july, at 10 p.m., we will meet at the patio of the Bonastruc ça Porta Centre.

Free entrance.
