About Primo levi

Conferences, reading and exhibition

The Patronat Call de Girona and the University of Girona, with the collaboration of the Istituto Italiano di Cultura and the MUME, have organized a series of activities to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the death of the great Italian Jewish thinker and writer Primo Levi.

We invite you to participate in the cycle of conferences which will start on Thursday, October 4th at 7 pm, with the lecture Primo Levi, the survivor and the witness by Xavier Antich. The cycle continues on October 25th with the lecture The importance of Auschwitz by Jörg Zimmer. Also, within this cycle of activities, you can visit the exhibition L'esborrament, paintings by Josep Maria Cabané, which will be inaugurated on July 4th at 8:30 pm, and you can join us in the Group of reading about the book "If this is a man", which will take place on Wednesday, November 28th at 7 pm in the Judaica library from the Nahmanides Institute for Jewish Studies.
