October 1st. 2019

The temporary rooms of the Museum of Jewish History will open to the public tomorrow, October 1, the first collective exhibition of the European consortium "Parallel Traces". The objective of the project is to value the Jewish heritage through a series of exhibitions that, with identical material, will take place in 5 European cities. Their theme focuses on the Jewish footprints in architecture and urbanism, which existed in the past and are still visible in the present, and coexist with current life in all these cities.

The exhibition will present the works of 5 professional artists, together with the work of the finalists of the photographic contest that is an integral part of the project. You can see the works of different recognized artists, invited by each of the cities participating in the project: Israel Ariņo (Girona); Agnieszka Traczewska (Breslau; Poland); Nikola Radić Lucat (Belgrade; Serbia); Daniel Grünfeld (Sighetu Marmatiei, Romania), and Dina Oganova (Tbilisi, Georgia).
