Musicians from Ukraine, Moldavia, Syria and Germany have founded the ensemble Kol Colé in Cologne to express their love for Eastern European, Jewish and Oriental music. Each musician of the band has his very own and personal musical background. Together they create a new and living music, based in traditions of Klezmer, Russian folk songs, Jewish tangos and chansons, old Sephardic and Hebrew songs, Syrian Qanun music -all mixed and enriched with their own compositions based in the Jewish and Oriental tradition.

The concerts of Kol Colé take the audience on a trip to hidden countries and forgotten times, to the Jewish shtetl, to the rural Ukraine and medieval Andalucia -always in search for a harmonic coexistance of Jewish, Muslim and Christian musical elements.
